Did you ever play with Voltron? Was your favourite colour red? Was it always the other cool guy who went rushing through your head? Did you sit real close to TV’s and just listen to the theme that ruled our childhood intensely catching everything between? Did you ever play with Voltron? Was it yellow? Was it green? All the promises you meant to keep were words you’d never mean. And remember how he used to joke about my guitaring skills? Well I’ve been practising you bastard and now my finger picking kills. Alright, yeh. And I’ll keep giving, I’ll keep giving, till there’s nothing more that’s left of me to give. I’ll keep giving, I’ll keep giving till there’s nothing more that’s left to give and no will left that’s left to live alright. Did you ever play with Voltron? Was it black or was it blue? Though I feigned that I was ok that you had someone to choose. And images are burnt inside of that unfaithful day, where you took another shot and well just, blew us all away. But I’ll keep giving, I’ll keep giving, till there’s nothing more that’s left of me to give. And I’ll keep giving, I’ll keep giving till there’s nothing left of me to give and no will left that’s left to live and so long to your honesty it left you for eternity and hello to my sincerity, it’s sounding folk enough to me and who here can truthfully raise your hands and agree.

Falling Out 03:39
I cast a black shallowy shadow on tarmac at Roma St waiting for you. The fire in your eyes left no hint of surprise that you knew what you’d say and I knew it too. Because I’m always falling out but I’m never falling in. With heads deep in hands we discussed grains of sand as the sun fell on backs and the hours passed. It tasted like bitter tears and who would have thought that this weak resolution would pass so fast. Because I’m always falling out but I’m never falling in. Don’t cry tonight. So just turn up the light in my eyes and the sting will be so much more bearable than your eyes burning me.

So I’d swear that I’d wear the swords and shields by your side. Was the perfect wrapped up gift of assassin and guardian in one. And while nobody breached your boundary, you were safe. As it turns out I was just waiting for the chance to run them through you myself. Waited to run them through you myself. So let’s sit and stretch every string till they snap and murder our eyes. So let’s sit and swallow these razors till every vocal chord is cut and I’ll never say, no I’ll never say, no I’ll never say that it’s over. Left weeping and bleeding and tearing from the start.

Can we just pull over? I think I’m going to be sick. Can we take some time out, she said without a blink. The selfishness I swallowed is causing the most upsetting stomach ache. Ask how I am doing just to fill the time. By now you should know that when it’s all on the line. The sentiment I sheltered is causing the most upsetting stomach ache. Did you read the letter? Did you even raise the knife? Well I think it would be best if you sent that letter opener to me express and maybe you could stab yourself a thousand times while you sit there losing my address. And maybe I would realise by the thousandth time that I’d save you the hassle and do it myself. Piercing the canvas that’s stapled to chests. The colours left bleeding. The deep vermilion from my flesh. And I think it would be best if you sent that letter opener to me express.

Temperature is running thin. Pleather seats and broken air conditioning. And the mirror is blocking views. Yeh kids we’ll be there soon. Vacation’s come around again. I’m excited as I’ll ever be. Vacation’s come around again, I’m excited as I’ll, I’m excited as I’ll…New camera and batteries and film. Honey, can you grab them off the windowsill? No I’m not accusing you. Fucking kids we’ll be there soon. Vacation’s coming to an end, have to say goodbye to dear old friends. Vacation’s coming to an end, have to say goodbye, have to say goodbye. And it feels like home time again.
